WOODSTOCK, Ill., April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- LandAirSea Systems, Inc., a leading
provider of passive and active Global Positioning System (GPS tracking)
solutions, announces its updated Web site.

In March, www.landairsea.com received fresh images and content, to coincide
with the company's move of headquarters, a new logo, and the anticipated
introduction of new products to the computer and electronics industry.

"The end result is our Web site runs more efficiently," said Robert Wagner,
president and chief executive officer of LandAirSea Systems. "Our dealers and
clients will enjoy fresh information and easier navigation."

Visitors to the site will find a reworked listing of dealers selling
LandAirSea GPS tracking technology, where they can search for a retailer by
name or by location, after typing in an address, zip code or city. The
Frequently-Asked Questions (FAQ) section was refreshed to provide more detail
on topics such as device installation and how the products operate. Potential
customers have the ability to view new demonstrations of LandAirSea System
devices in operation, on animated street maps and satellite views; and they
can see videos on GPS-related topics. The expanded "News" section contains
"Press Releases", a "Media" category, relevant "Articles" and the "Latest
News" on the GPS tracking and surveillance industry, including the "History of
GPS" and a teenager's view into the practice of vehicle tracking.

Along with the debut of the revised Web site, LandAirSea introduced a new
logo, which represents triangulation; a subtle reference of GPS technology.

"It's a new face to go with our new location," Wagner said.

On March 16, the company's corporate office was moved to 2040 Dillard Court in
Woodstock, from 770 Industrial Drive, Cary. The company is operating from
13,000 square feet of space, which is six times larger than its previous
facility.

How GPS Works
GPS devices receive signals from a constellation of 24 Department of Defense
satellites orbiting the earth. The location of the GPS tracking device is
calculated within meters of accuracy, by the system of triangulation, using
the readings from three satellites.

LandAirSea manufactures and distributes two types of vehicle tracking systems.
In passive devices, the vehicle's travel history is committed to memory inside
the unit. Second-by-second, the vehicle's location, direction and speed are
recorded, as well as the address and duration of each stop. To access the
information, the user removes the device from the vehicle and downloads the
data via USB port onto a PC.

In LandAirSea's active vehicle tracking system the same data is collected, but
the user can access the tracking information in real-time from a remote
location over a secured network.
