O2Micro Receives Selector Circuit Architecture Patent

O2Micro® International Limited (NASDAQ®:OIIM) (SEHK:0457), a leading supplier of
innovative power management and security components, was issued 21 claims under
United States patent number 7,489,110 for its Selector Circuit for Power
Management in multiple battery systems; a continuation of the invention issued
March 2006 under United States patent number 7,009,364. 

O2Micro`s Selector Circuit power management architecture, used with multiple
battery systems, permits the selection of a power source among multiple battery
sources, and enables verification of power conditions and override instructions
from an electronic device`s power management unit.

batteries and enhances power supply safety and battery life in the power supply
block of various electronic applications, such as notebook computers," stated
