NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif., April 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- IPC The
Hospitalist Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: IPCM), a leading national hospitalist
physician group practice company, announced today that it will report results
for its first quarter ended March 31, 2009 on May 4, 2009, after the market
close.

A conference call to review the results will begin at 5:00 p.m. ET (2:00 p.m.
PT) on May 4, 2009 and will be hosted by Adam Singer, Chairman, Chief
Executive Officer, and Chief Medical Officer, Jeff Taylor, President and Chief
Operating Officer, and Devra Shapiro, Chief Financial Officer.
