Spectrum Dynamics Announces New Financing Allowing Expansion Into Key Markets
and New Product Development

ORANGEBURG, N.Y., April 20, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Spectrum Dynamics announced
today that it has recently closed on a round of new financing. The financing
came from institutional and private investors, and will provide the necessary
capital to realize both its short and long term strategic plans.

Canada and Europe will provide Spectrum with a significant platform for growth,"
