Safe sex is on the menu at a growing number of take aways across the UK with
free condoms being distributed to customers!

Website 118menu.co.uk, one of the UK`s fastest growing online fast food delivery
services, has distributed tens of thousands of branded condoms to hundreds of
fast food outlets from Southampton to Edinburgh.

The idea is the brainchild of 118menu.co.uk MD and founder Mark Hall. The West
Yorkshire-based entrepreneur commented: "We`ve sent out the condoms, together
with a range of other branded merchandise including key rings, pizza boxes and
fridge magnets to take aways and restaurants that have signed up to the site in
cities such as London, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Sheffield.

"We will also be handing them out to students on campuses up and down the
country. Whilst take away food may not be the healthiest course of action we are
definitely endorsing a healthy approach to safe sex.

"There`s a serious issue here with the growth of sexually transmitted diseases
and we`re hoping to tackle that by targeting people visiting fast food outlets
or ordering online," added Mark who established the site in 2008 inspired by a
fruitless late night hunt for a take away menu!

"I`d just returned from the pub and was feeling peckish," explained Mark "but
the fridge was empty! I hunted high and low for a take away menu without success
and I think I had to settle for a bowl of cornflakes that night when I needed
something a bit more substantial!

"It got me thinking as to how I could develop an online service that delivered
whatever you want direct to your door and from that 118menu.co.uk was born!

"I do love my fast food," added the 30-year-old former chef and sales manager
"but like many people I get bombarded with take away menus which I rarely keep
hold of.

"To have one site that you can visit and chose between a host of take aways
seemed like a common sense idea and the web presence was launched late in 2008,"
added Mark who has established an office with five staff in the Headingley area
of Leeds.
