Session Will Help Service Providers Meet Demand for Scalable, Managed, and
Secure Cloud Offerings

ISLANDIA, N.Y., April 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CA, Inc. (Nasdaq: CA) today
announced that Roger Pilc, corporate senior vice president and general
manager, will moderate a panel, "Cloud providers: meeting management and
customer needs," at TM Forum's Management World 2009 conference in Nice,
France. Pilc will lead the discussion on Thursday, May 7 from 2:00 to 3:30
p.m.

"With economic uncertainly rising, IT organizations are being asked to deliver
high quality services with less headcount and budget," said Martin Creaner,
president and chief technical officer, TM Forum. "As a result of their
pervasive IP networks and data center assets, service providers are well
positioned to deliver these services via the Cloud. This session will be
instrumental to helping Cloud providers meet the burgeoning demand for
scalable, managed, and secure service-based offerings for applications,
development tools, and computing capacity."

In addition to Pilc, the panel, part of the Business Transformation Summit,
will feature Martin Buhr, European Business Director, Amazon Web Services; JP
Rangaswami, Managing Director, Strategy and Innovation for BT Design, BT Group
plc; and Eric Troup, Platform Strategy (BSS/OSS/SDP), Microsoft. The
discussion will be open for questions from the audience to address specific
issues and points of interest such as:

-- What are the major management requirements IT organizations ask Cloud
        providers for?
-- How are Cloud providers responding to meet management (technology and
        process) and customer needs?
-- What are the top inhibitors Cloud providers must overcome to drive
        customer demand?

"Due to the global economic downturn, enterprises are seeking to rein in
capex, drive down internal IT costs, consolidate their activities, and run as
lean as possible over the next few years," said Roger Pilc. "This session will
explore how Cloud providers can help enterprises turn capex into more
predictable opex and become more agile, able to respond quickly to demand
spikes and new business opportunities. We will discuss how management tools
and processes can mitigate business and security risks, and reduce operational
costs through automation. We will also address the real-time resource
provisioning, performance management, change detection, and configuration
management capabilities that are critical to helping customers feel confident
in adopting Cloud services."
