Stronghold Advisors, a middle-market advisory firm in the Mid-Atlantic
region, announced today that it has added government and business leader
Aris Melissaratos to its Advisory Board. Melissaratos joins nine other
executives with broad experience in a range of industries, including
manufacturing, distribution, government contracting, technology,
healthcare, life sciences, construction & engineering, retail and
business services.

Melissaratos currently serves as senior advisor to the president of Johns
Hopkins University with responsibilities for technology transfer,
corporate partnerships, and enterprise development. In addition to
several private business ventures, he served with Maryland Governor Bob
Ehrlich as secretary of the state's Department of Business and Economic
Development. Previously, he was Westinghouse's chief technology officer
and vice president for science and technology, responsible for running
Westinghouse's research and development functions. He also served as the
chief operations officer for the company's Defense Electronics Group. He
currently serves as a director of Spherix, Inc. and Avatech Solutions,
Inc., both publicly held companies.
