AUSTIN, Texas, April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Despite the current challenging
economic environment, student demand to lease rooms for the fall semester at
Austin's Dobie Tower - widely known as one of the hottest places for UT
students to live - remains quite strong.

"So far we're dead even with last year's pace for getting leases signed and
way ahead of where we were in early April of 2006 and 2007," said Todd
Engstrom, General Manager at the Dobie Center. "This success has not come
without effort. However, by taking a more proactive approach to our marketing
and communications initiatives, investing in state-of-the-art renovations and
offering smart incentives to students, we've done quite well in a challenging
environment."

This positive trend also extends to the summer programs, camps and conventions
that rely on the Dobie Center to house attendees during the summer season.
Such programs have booked ~10% more space at Dobie in 2009 than in 2008.

"We're still offering some great deals and incredible incentives for next
semester," said Engstrom. "I encourage any student who is still thinking about
where they want to live next year to come check out the Dobie Center."

The 370,000-square-foot, 27-story Dobie Center accommodates about 950
residents. Located steps from campus, Dobie Center offers residents full
service dining and a professional management staff. Additionally, the Dobie
Mall features retail shops and a four-screen movie theatre. The
state-of-the-art fitness center and the brand new $2 million pool and Jacuzzi
area are sure to make everyone's Dobie Center experience memorable. Dobie
Center also has free high-speed wireless Internet service, private bathrooms,
24-hour security, and housekeeping. Dobie Center is managed by Campus
Advantage, Inc., an Austin-based firm that specializes in the management of
student facilities.
