  VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Apr 20 (MARKET WIRE) -- 
Electra Gold (ELT) (TSX VENTURE: ELT) is pleased to report that 6,167
tonnes of chalky geyserite was shipped to Lafarge Richmond Plant on March
6/09. The next load is scheduled for May/09.

    Two members of Lafarge will be visiting the PEM100 property this week as
part of their due diligence in finalizing a long-term contract with
Electra Gold Ltd.
