11 am EDT
(Washington, DC) April 20, 2009 - Findings from the 2009 2nd Quarter Real
Estate Roundtable Sentiment Survey will be discussed during a media conference
call on Monday, April 20 at 11 am EDT by Jeffrey D. DeBoer, President and CEO
of The Real Estate Roundtable. Jonas D. Bordo, Senior Director of FPL
Associates L.P., will also be available to address questions about the
survey's methodology.
This is the fifth installment of The Real Estate Roundtable Sentiment Survey,
the industry's most comprehensive measure of leading real estate executives'
attitudes in the marketplace. The Real Estate Roundtable Sentiment Index, an
indicator based on survey results, provides a comparable benchmark on
executives' views regarding real estate conditions, access to capital markets,
and asset pricing. A copy of the report will be posted to The Roundtable's
website (www.rer.org) one hour prior to the call.
The Roundtable has also recommended to policymakers a five point policy
program as a starting point to stabilize the nation's multi-trillion-dollar
real estate sector and transform the financial markets regulatory
infrastructure.
