SUNNYVALE, CA, Apr 20 (MARKET WIRE) --
Fujitsu today announced that IDG's Computerworld, the "Voice of IT
Management," has selected it as one of the top Green-IT Organizations for
2009 for the second consecutive year. Fujitsu was number five on the 2008
ranking. This honor is part of the IT media outlet's annual Top Green-IT
Organizations feature, which was published in the April 20 issue of
Computerworld and online at www.computerworld.com. Fujitsu was selected
based on its approach to meeting environmental challenges.

    Fujitsu Green Highlights

society, the company establishes mid-range environmental action programs in

process ordinary
and confidential wastepaper disposed of by offices of Fujitsu Group
companies in Japan. Fujitsu offices around the world have implemented
similar programs.

Transport Partner, a voluntary collaboration between the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and organizations committed to
significantly reducing greenhouse gases and air pollution in their freight
operations.

-- Fujitsu was the first company in Silicon Valley to install a hydrogen fuel
cell.

Initiative. In joining the initiative, Fujitsu will further promote the
conservation of biodiversity and the sustainable use of natural
resources.

14001 certification, an integrated environmental management system.
Fujitsu uses methodologies, tools and practices to unify efforts and
promote environmental activities that provide information and visibility
into environmental initiatives and performance.

-- Fujitsu has made the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index eight years
in a row, and the FTSE4Good Index Series Certification starting 2006 to
2008.

-- The company is an active participant in the
Fujitsu Environmental Protection Program, Climate Savers Computing
Initiative, Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), Recycling of Electronic
Waste, ENERGY STAR(R), Electronic
Product Environmental Tool Assessment or EPEAT(R) and Green Grid.

Quotes

Scot Finnie, Editor in Chief, Computerworld
 "Smart
organizations know that there are energy and money savings beyond data
center walls, and even beyond the IT department. Green-IT efforts are
found up and down the supply chain, from the data center to the desktop,
from the mainframe to the end user. The organizations recognized in our
second annual Top Green-IT issue have explored new ways to apply
technology to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions in every
part of their operations."

Richard McCormack, SVP, Marketing, Fujitsu America
 "We are pleased to
be recognized as one of the Computerworld Top Green-IT Organizations for
the second consecutive year. Fujitsu has been working to reduce its
environmental footprint for more than a decade -- sustainability is part
of the company's DNA. Fujitsu will continue to invest in innovation and
programs that are good for both the environment and a business
standpoint."
