The Beryl Companies Hires Jim Stalder as New Chief Information Officer

DALLAS, April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Jim Stalder has joined The Beryl Companies as its new chief information officer (CIO). In this role Stalder will leverage his knowledge of healthcare information technology to help Beryl, the nation's leading provider of outsourced call center services to healthcare organizations, continue its leadership position. Beryl continues to invest in new methods of customer contact technologies and is developing pioneering new products and solutions for its healthcare customers. Stalder brings more than 20 years of technology experience to his new role. Previously, he was the CIO at Mercy Health Services, a $500 million healthcare provider in Baltimore, for six years. He oversaw the technology strategy for Mercy's acute-care hospital, dozens of physician practices, and a long-term care facility. He led Mercy through the implementation of several new clinical systems, including electronic medical records, picture archiving and communications system (PACS), and barcoded bedside medication administration. In addition to his technology experience within the healthcare industry, Stalder held leadership positions at USinternetworking and Digex where he had primary responsibility for developing and launching several product lines. He also spent several years at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) working with large-scale custom application development projects in the telecommunications industry. Stalder earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Duke University.
