Paris EUROPLACE, the organization whose mission is to represent and develop the
Paris financial marketplace, will organize the 12th edition of its International
Financial Forum in New York. 

The objective of this Forum is to gather US and European market professionals as
well as representatives of regulatory Authorities in order to conduct effective
reflection on the role and functioning of financial markets, address the lessons
learnt from the financial crisis, value the viewpoint of market users in the
current financial turmoil and identify the next steps to be taken to target
international growth. The Forum will focus on the necessity to restore
confidence in the financial world markets and provide market liquidity. 

After a first debate on the European/US roadmap to face the financial crisis and
regulation to prevent future crisis, technical sessions will tackle the
following themes : 

- Carbon Finance & Climate: the New Deal (sponsored by Caisse des Dépôts); 

- The Benefits of the New Protocol to the French-US Tax Treaty (sponsored by
