CHICAGO, IL, Apr 20 (MARKET WIRE) --
Wines from Spain, a division of the Trade Commission of Spain, will
partner with the Greater Chicago Food Depository for its 16th annual
Great Match: Wine & Tapas tasting tour on Tuesday, May 5 from 6:00 - 8:30
p.m. at The Ivy Room at Tree Studios at 12 E. Ohio in Chicago. Proceeds
from ticket sales will benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository -- the
city's food bank -- a non-profit food distribution and training center
providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in Chicago.
Tickets are available for purchase at www.greatmatch.org.

Wines from Spain selected the Greater Chicago Food Depository as part of
its commitment to make a difference in the community. The Food Depository
distributes donated and purchased food through a network of 600 food
pantries, soup kitchens and shelters to 500,000 adults and children every
year. Last year, the Food Depository distributed more than 46 million
pounds of nonperishable food and fresh produce, dairy products and meat,
the equivalent of more than 95,000 meals every day.

The Great Match Chicago will feature eight prominent Chicago-area
chefs,
including:

-- Randy Zweiban, Province
-- Maneet Chauhan, Vermillion
-- Michael Fiorello, Mercat a la Planxa
-- Yamandu Perez, Zak's Place
-- Nick Lacasse, The Drawing Room
-- Jeff Brantley, Tizi Melloul

Each chef will prepare small signature dishes designed to show the
versatility of Spanish wines. Guests will have the opportunity to taste
more than 200 current release wines, highlighting Spain's indigenous
varietals.

sought-after wines from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Attendees will be asked to provide
