PORTLAND, Ore., April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Koopman Ostbo announces the
acquisition of two public relations clients - Orca Bay Seafoods and Oregon
Cattlemen's Association.

Orca Bay Seafoods selected KO to handle its public relations efforts as the
Renton, Washington-based company launches a new line of branded frozen
products with an innovative steam cooking system. Orca Bay Seafoods is a
leader in providing great-tasting, high-quality seafood to the food service,
restaurant, retail and club store industries. Founded in 1985, Orca Bay is
one of America's largest producers of table-ready portion controlled seafood
items, including crab, scallops, tuna, salmon, swordfish, halibut and more.

Rounding out its menu of new PR clients, KO won a contract with the Oregon
Beef Council to work on a producer image campaign for the Oregon Cattlemen's
Association. As the voice of the cattle industry in Oregon, the Oregon
Cattlemen's Association mission is to promote environmentally and socially
sound industry practices and to strengthen the economics of the industry. It
was formed in 1913 in Baker County to advance the economic, political and
social industries of the Oregon cattle industry.

"These are accounts we can really sink our teeth into," said Ken Koopman,
Principal of Koopman Ostbo. "We're all about promoting great food and
beverage products and are fortunate to represent some of the best producers
and manufacturers in the Northwest."
