 NEW YORK, April 24 (Reuters) - Short interest fell in mid-April on both the
New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq, suggesting a decrease in bearish sentiment

 Below are the five NYSE stocks that experienced the largest increases and
decreases in their short positions from late March to mid-April, according to
information released by the exchange.
 The five companies with the largest overall short positions are also
listed.
 The latest date is as of April 15, while the previous period's data is as
of March 31.
