Acer sees netbook PC shipment of 10mln-12mln this yr

TAIPEI, April 29 (Reuters) - Acer Inc (2353.TW), the world's third-largest computer maker, on Wednesday said it expects to ship 10 million-12 million netbook PCs this year, compared with its previous forecast of 12 million-15 million.

Acer made its comments after the Taiwan stock market closed on Wednesday. Its shares were down 0.17 percent, lagging the benchmark TAIEX share index's .TWII 0.31 percent advance.
