CME says TV ad market to bottom out by Q1 2010
PRAGUE, April 29 (Reuters) - Television broadcaster Central European Media Enterprises (CETV.O) (CETVsp.PR) expects that the market for television advertising will bottom out between the third quarter this year and the first quarter of 2010, the firm said on Wednesday.
"Uncertainty about TV ad spending in 2009 will persist. We believe the decline in TV ad spend will reach bottom between Q3 2009 and Q1 2010," it said in an investor presentation.
"Uncertainty persists in respect of advertisers fulfilling their full year commitments. As a result we cannot forecast revenues beyond the second quarter," it said. (Reporting by Jason Hovet, writing by Jan Lopatka)
