Renaissance Lighting to Debut White LED Downlights with 2 ½ Times Greater Efficacy at LIGHTFAIR International

Company executives also plan to discuss realignment of national sales agency

Renaissance Lighting is coming to LIGHTFAIR International 2009 to showcase its
all new, all white solid-state LED downlight fixtures that are brighter than
ever and have two and a half times more lumens per watt (efficacy) than previous
generations. In addition, the company plans to introduce a new remodel mounting
frame designed to accommodate the burgeoning lighting replacement market and a
square downlight option that will enthuse lighting designers everywhere.

The new Renaissance Lighting white downlights are available in a full range of
white light color temperatures (2700K - 4100K) and are enabled using
Constructive Occlusion® technology, resulting in a highly efficient fixture with
uniform, glare-free and bright light output.

A leading innovator in the development and manufacture of solid-state downlight
fixtures, Renaissance Lighting will be demonstrating its new products at
LIGHTFAIR International, Booth No. 875, during the three-day lighting industry
conclave here at the Javits Center.

October, Acuity Brands Lighting formed a strategic partnership with Renaissance
Lighting that included furthering the U.S. domestic sales footprint of
solid-state lighting. This sales realignment is expected to assist both
companies.

Earlier this month the federal government`s General Services Administration
(GSA) awarded a contract to Renaissance Lighting and placed the company on the
GSA Schedule for five years in recognition of Renaissance Lighting`s unrelenting

individualized programs for controlling multiple groups of light fixtures with
