Eric Mao-Teng Hsu Joins GT Solar as Country Manager in Taiwan

GT Solar to Exhibit at PV Taiwan 2009
MERRIMACK, N.H.--(Business Wire)--
GT Solar International, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOLR), a global provider of specialized
equipment and technology for the solar power industry, today announced that Eric
Mao-Teng Hsu has joined the company in the newly-created position of country
manager - Taiwan. In this role, Hsu will be responsible for establishing a
direct office in Taiwan, and for leading the company`s efforts in the growing
Taiwanese market. 

Hsu brings to GT Solar nearly 15 years of sales, service, and management
experience. Most recently, he served as an account manager for Varian
Semiconductor Equipment Associates. Previously, he was the service operation
director/Asia service deputy director for Brooks Automation, Inc. Hsu has also
held positions of increasing responsibility at other companies, including AMPI
Inc., INTRACO Asia Taiwan, and KLA-Tencor Corporation. He earned a Bachelor of
Computer Science degree from International Technological University in
Sunnyvale, Calif.
