Lucado special guest during historic Mike Silva festival

SAN ANTONIO, April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Best-selling author and pastor Max
Lucado participated in a multi-day evangelistic campaign in San Pedro Sula,
Honduras, sponsored by Mike Silva International. Lucado spoke twice to the
main session, with more than 110,000 in attendance, as well twice to a
pastors/leaders conference at the La Cosecha Church and once to a
businessmen's group. Mike Silva International estimates more than 160,000
people attended the festival in two days.

Lucado spoke mostly from his most recent best-selling book, 3:16-The Numbers
of Hope (Thomas Nelson, September 2007), and his upcoming book, Fearless:
Imagine Your Life Without Fear (Thomas Nelson, September 2009).

"Like we all do, the people in Honduras need to replace fear with hope," says
Lucado. "I will always treasure the memory of sweet faces, humble pastors and
a great harvest."

Lucado for the first time reported on an international trip via the social
network Twitter. More than 11,000 people follow the popular pastor. He
solicited prayers, sent photos, and gave multiple updates. One highlight for
Lucado was visiting a local orphanage. He said, "I should have taken two
hearts to Honduras. I left mine there." You can follow Lucado on Twitter at
