Independent Oracle Users Group Board Member Receives Oracle ACE Award

Michelle Malcher recognized for "proficiency in Oracle technology, willingness
to share knowledge and experiences"


CHICAGO--(Business Wire)--
The Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG) today announced that board member
Michelle Malcher has received an Oracle ACE Award. Oracle`s ACE Program
recognizes and rewards members of its Technology and Applications communities
for their contributions. These individuals are technically proficient and
willingly share their knowledge and experiences. 

Malcher is a Senior Database Administrator with over 10 years experience in
database development, design and administration. She has expertise in
performance tuning, security, data modeling and database architecture of very
large database environments. She is the Director of Special Interest Groups for
IOUG, as well as a representative on the Oracle's Security Customer Advisor
Council, providing feedback and recommendations to Oracle regarding security
products and practices. Malcher is also co-author of the book Oracle Database
11g, A Beginner's Guide.

solutions.
