Panelists from 1020 Placecast, NearbyNow, CatalystSF and Local Mobile Search
Discuss How Location is Proving to Be the Next Evolution in Online and Mobile
Advertising

SAN FRANCISCO--(Business Wire)--
1020 Placecast, the leading advertising solution to target highly sought-after
audiences using location-based information across the Web, mobile, Wi-Fi
networks and email, today announced that they will be hosting a teleconference
on location-based advertising and the industry landscape next week. The
teleconference, which is scheduled for next Thursday, May 7th, will feature
insights from panelists including: Greg Sterling, Founding Principal of Sterling
Market Intelligence and Senior Analyst for Local Mobile Search; Scott Dunlap,
CEO of NearbyNow; Jim Nichols, Senior Partner and Strategist for CatalystSF; and
Alistair Goodman, CEO of 1020 Placecast.

Placecast, in particular, uses location to target audiences with integrated
campaigns across any device more effectively with fewer wasted impressions. They
are currently running campaigns across both Web and mobile, and recently
announced a 300% growth in their publisher network in the past six months.

The teleconference will consist of a moderated roundtable amongst the panelists
where they will discuss the answers to such questions as:

* Why should we care about location-sensitive media? Is this big enough
technology trend?
* What are some real examples of successful location-based advertising that are
happening right now? Who is doing it right?
* With minimal experimental ad budgets, why should brand marketers choose
location-based advertising?
* What are some best practices for brands and agencies to get started?

"There`s a lot of conversation out there right now around location, but not a
consolidated place where people can get answers from the companies who`ve had
the most success," said Alistair Goodman, CEO of 1020 Placecast. "We`ve brought
together some of the most successful minds in the business to get these answers
and show how location-based advertising will be changing the game in digital
marketing."

The teleconference will take place on Thursday, May 7th, at 10 am PT/1 pm ET.
Listeners can dial in for free using the following conference call information:
