Fry to provide an end-to-end solution for Charming Shoppes' branded apparel
sites

ANN ARBOR, Mich., April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Fry, Inc., a wholly owned
subsidiary of MICROS Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: MCRS) and a leading e-commerce
solutions provider, today announced its selection as the e-commerce partner
for Charming Shoppes, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHRS), a leading multi-brand specialty
apparel retailer specializing in women's plus apparel.

The project will include strategic planning, creative and user experience
design, multi-site e-commerce platform development, an integrated order
management and call center application, and site hosting for Charming Shoppes'
three core brands, Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug, and Catherines Plus Sizes.

Scheduled to launch fall 2009, Fry will build the sites using its Open
Commerce Platform(TM) (OCP), a multi-site e-commerce solution that includes an
integrated order management system and call center application designed to
bridge seamlessly the gap between Charming Shoppes' stores and online
channels. Fry will also support integration with Charming Shoppes' POS system
to allow store associates to reference, order, and ship online products that
are not available in the store directly to the customer.

Fry's re-launch of Charming Shoppes' three branded apparel websites will
enable the Company to better fulfill its mission to serve the lifestyle
apparel needs of women wearing plus size apparel by offering the very best in
service, selection, value and fit. Each site will include Web 2.0 features,
such as quick-look and persistent cart, as well as innovative widgets for a
more engaging user experience.

"We are thrilled to partner with Charming Shoppes. The complete end-to-end
multichannel solution will assist each brand in reaching its fullest growth
potential and building a community with its customers," said David Fry,
president of Fry. "We look forward to a long-term partnership with Charming
Shoppes."
