The Minnesota Credit Union Network (MnCUN) this month named Paul Jacobsen,
TopLine Federal Credit Union`s board vice chair, the recipient of one of its
most prestigious awards, the MnCUN Outstanding Credit Union Volunteer of the
Year. The award is given each year to an outstanding credit union volunteer who
demonstrates excellence in the credit union movement, including involvement at
local and state levels and participation in other activities that further the
organized movement. Jacobsen accepted the award at the MnCUN 2009 Annual Meeting
& Convention in Bloomington, Minn. on April 18.

Jacobsen has been a volunteer at TopLine for 14 years, currently serving as the
credit union`s Board Vice Chair and Chair of the Executive Committee. He is
active in the credit union movement and regularly participates in credit union
events, including chapter meetings, state and national credit union conferences,
and political fundraisers.

Throughout his service to TopLine, and for 30 years in total, Paul has also been
a volunteer in the US Air Force and the Minnesota Air National Guard, currently
a Lieutenant Colonel and Commander of the 210th Engineering Installation
Squadron at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Air National Guard base. All during several
deployments to the Middle East and Stateside bases since 2001, Paul has remained
an active and contributing member of the TopLine board, keeping his credit union
volunteer service a priority in the midst of service to his country.

"For Paul, the credit union philosophy means, above all, selflessness. He is
continuously and consistently putting the needs of others first," says Harry
Carter, President of TopLine Federal Credit Union. "This is evident not only in
his service to his country, but in his work for TopLine, where the needs of our
credit union`s member/owners always come first."

TopLine Federal Credit Union, a Twin Cities-based credit union, is Minnesota`s
13th largest, with assets of more than $260 million. Established in 1935,
TopLine offers a complete line of financial services from its headquarters in
Maple Grove, and five branch offices located in Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park,
Edina, Maple Grove and Plymouth, as well as by phone and online at
www.TopLinecu.com. Membership is available to anyone who lives, works, worships,
