Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission Dismisses Sex Discrimination
Complaints Against McDermitt Concrete Inc.

HARRISBURG, Pa., April 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Human
Relations Commission issued an order today dismissing discrimination
complaints filed by Vikki Mace of Gettysburg against Caco Three Inc., doing
business as McDermitt Concrete Inc., of Gettysburg, Adams County. 

Mace alleged that McDermitt discriminated against her on the basis of her sex
and fired her in retaliation for complaining.  Following a public hearing on
the matter, the commission found that Mace did not produce sufficient evidence
to prove her claims.     

The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission enforces Pennsylvania laws
prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, color, religious creed,
national origin, ancestry, age, sex, disability and familial status.  The
commission's jurisdiction extends to employment, housing, commercial property,
public accommodation, education and monitoring community tension.   Find us
