New implementation of leading mobile workforce management solution already
returning benefits for Sheetz
SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass.--(Business Wire)--
ViryaNet Limited (OTHER OTC: VRYAF.PK), a leading provider of software
applications that optimize business processes for field service management,
today announced Sheetz, a family-owned convenience store chain based in Altoona,
Pennsylvania, successfully went live with ViryaNet Service Hub for Retail on
March 5, 2009.

Sheetz is using ViryaNet Service Hub to automate its field service operations,
including the activities associated with workforce management, facilities
maintenance, and store equipment repair. To date, a number of technicians from
the Store Support Group are live on ViryaNet Service Hub performing maintenance
work, including break/fix and planned preventative maintenance. These
technicians are using either a handheld device or laptop to report activities in
real-time from the field.

ViryaNet Service Hub is being used to optimize scheduling, dispatching, and
provide in-field processing of the work orders regardless of connectivity.
Sheetz is also using the ViryaNet solution to track and manage van inventory,
collect travel and labor time associated with each job, and provide the ability
to create work orders. All this information is integrated with Sheetz`s
corporate systems for financials, inventory and call logging including the
Sheetz IVR solution for subcontractor work order reporting. This provides Sheetz
with an end to end, integrated business process solution for their workforce
management and store management needs.

"ViryaNet Service Hub provides us with the best solution to ensure maximum
productivity from each of our field resources," said Mark Wilson, Director of
Stores, Sheetz. "In addition, ViryaNet Service Hub is already providing us great
insight into opportunities for improvement in equipment selection, training of
field technicians, cost management, and inventory control. The real benefit is
to our end customers; we can ensure that every piece of equipment is maintained
at maximum availability for all of our customers at all times.

Our customers have come to expect that all services and products are available
at all times at all retail stores and Viryanet will allow us to ensure we are
meeting our customers` expectations."

"We are pleased to be working with Sheetz and assisting them as they strive to
achieve operational excellence within their operation," stated Jeff Oskin, COO,
ViryaNet. "They are a well respected organization within their peer group and
this only furthers our market leading position within the retail sector."
