Calvert Partners Adds Two New Distance Learning Providers in Ohio

BALTIMORE, April 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Calvert Education Services is
pleased to expand its distance learning options for Kindergarten through
Eighth Grade students in Ohio this fall through new partnerships with Portage
County Educational Service Center and Stark Portage Area Computer Consortium
(SPARCC). Calvert Partners provides several significant advantages to
districts and schools in Ohio: more academic control in managing students,
greater teacher interaction, a balance of online and offline instruction, and
a world-renowned curriculum. Additionally, the Calvert program allows Portage
and SPARCC to retain the majority of their per-pupil revenue providing funding
for other district priorities in a difficult economic climate.
