COLUMBIA, Md.--(Business Wire)--
Impulse Monitoring, Inc. (IMI), a leading provider of intraoperative
neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) services to hospitals, today announced that
it has signed an agreement with Nash Health Care, Rocky Mount, NC. IMI will
provide Nash Health Care with comprehensive IONM services, including real-time
professional oversight by experienced physicians. IONM assesses neurological
function involving the brain, spinal cord and related nerve structures during
such surgeries. Use of IONM facilitates the surgical process and can reduce
surgical risk by providing alerts to surgeons of potential harm to the spinal
cord or neural structures.

"It`s not enough for our facility to simply provide IONM to help protect our
patients from adverse events in their surgeries. The added component of
physician oversight is a critical level of additional expertise and assurance
that our patients are getting the best care possible," said Rick Guarino, MD,
Chief Medical Officer, Nash Health Care. "When it comes to the very best in
intraoperative neuromonitoring, we know we`ve aligned with a partner that we can
completely trust."
