Tonight, Amnesty International Activists to Show Their Support for
Accountability for Past Abuses During President's 100 Days Press Conference

Small Group of Human Rights Activists Will Demonstrate in Front of the White
House

Tonight, a small group of Amnesty International activists will demonstrate
from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House
during President Obama's 100 days press conference urging him to push for
accountability for past detainee abuses.

This is in addition to tomorrow morning's march (Thursday, April 30) at which
Amnesty International, Witness Against Torture and other activists will march
from the Capitol to the White House to again show their support for a
comprehensive, independent and impartial commission to investigate the past
abuses in the Bush administration's war on terror.
