Senior Housing Properties Trust (NYSE: SNH) today announced that it will host a
conference call in conjunction with the announcement of its first quarter 2009
financial results. 

SNH plans to issue a press release containing its first quarter 2009 financial
results before the NYSE opens on Wednesday, May 6, 2009. Later that afternoon at
1:00 p.m. Eastern Time, David Hegarty, President and Chief Operating Officer,
and Richard Doyle, Chief Financial Officer, will host a conference call to
discuss the first quarter 2009 results. Following the company`s remarks, there
will be a short question and answer period.
