Premiere Paella Parade! Celebrate Spain`s Foods with EL COTO DE RIOJA Wines

On Sunday, June 7, 2009 from 11am to 3pm, the first annual Paella Parade will
take place outdoors at the new South Street Seaport location of New York Water
Taxi Beach. Spanish chefs and restaurateurs from the tri-state area will unite
for this first-of-its-kind event to showcase and highlight their Paella making
skills accompanied by wines from Spain`s leader, El Coto de Rioja. Tempranillo
and Spanish food fans are expected to turn out in droves to witness Paella
making at its best! The ticket price will be $25 and available for purchase at
watertaxibeach.com will allow aficionados to taste every Paella presented as
well as a selection of Rioja wines from the Baron De Ley Group (El Coto, Baron
de Ley, Museum and Maximo wines), imported by Frederick Wildman & Sons. A
portion of the ticket proceeds will go to Action Against Hunger, a global
humanitarian organization committed to eliminating world hunger, and the Wine
Course at the Department of Hospitality Management at New York City College of
Technology.

Wine & Tapas Bar, La Paella Tapas Wine Bar and Restaurant, and many more. At
2pm, a Paella Parade Panel consisting of press, celebrities, renowned chefs, and
familiar local personalities, will announce, in the spirit of friendly
competition, the winners in the following categories: Prettiest Paella
Presentation; Most Creative Paella; Best Use of Ingredients in a Paella; Best
Overall Taste; and finally, Paella Parade Pleaser will be determined by the
Public in attendance.
