Donate blood to the American Red Cross and receive a scratch ticket from Uno
Chicago Grill(R) worth $5, $10, $15 or pizza for a year

DEDHAM, Mass., April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- During the month of May, all
presenting donors at American Red Cross blood drives in Massachusetts, New
Hampshire and Connecticut, along with select blood drives in Vermont and
Maine, will get the chance to "Scratch & Win with Uno Chicago Grill(R)." The
Boston-based restaurant group is partnering with the Red Cross to show its
appreciation for blood donors by giving everyone who comes in to donate blood
a scratch ticket worth $5, $10 or $15 to participating Uno Chicago Grill
locations. In addition, a few lucky winners will scratch and win a free
individual pizza every month for a year.

"Scratch & Win with Uno Chicago Grill" will kick off with a blood drive at the
Uno Chicago Grill located in Dedham, MA, on Friday, May 1 from 10:00 AM - 3:00
PM. Additional special events and blood drives are scheduled throughout the
month of May in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire. In addition, Uno
Chicago Grill is treating donors to free pizza during "Uno Days," which are
being held at select American Red Cross blood donation centers across New
England. For a schedule of drive locations and times, visit
www.newenglandblood.org.

Uno Chicago Grill is also giving back to the American Red Cross Disaster
Relief Fund in May by hosting a "Dough Rai$er" over Memorial Day weekend. Uno
Chicago Grill will donate 20 percent of customers' restaurant bills to local
Red Cross chapters when they dine at participating Uno Chicago Grill locations
in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut and Vermont on May 23rd
and 24th. Diners must present a Dough Rai$er voucher to have proceeds from
their bill donated. Vouchers are available when donating blood or by visiting
www.unos.com/RedCross.

"For the second year in a row, the American Red Cross is fortunate to partner
with Uno Chicago Grill during the month of May to help collect blood for
patients in need," says Donna M. Morrissey, Director of Public Relations and
Corporate Affairs - American Red Cross, Northeast Division. "The 'Scratch and
Win with Uno Chicago Grill' promotion is a unique and exciting way for us to
say thank you to the generous donors who give the gift of life."

"With over 40 restaurants in the New England area, this is an example of how
we put our commitment to Genuine Hospitality into action -- by providing a
tangible way for Uno to contribute to the welfare of our surrounding
communities," said Frank Guidara, Chief Executive Officer of Uno. "We hope our
involvement will generate significant consumer awareness and increased blood
donations."

Blood is used for patients undergoing many surgical procedures, organ
transplants, trauma and chemotherapy. For some patients, such as the victim of
an automobile accident, the need for blood is sudden. For others, ongoing
transfusions are needed to sustain medical treatment.

The American Red Cross holds blood drives in communities seven days a week.
Please call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or visit www.givelife.org to find a blood drive
near you and schedule an appointment to donate. It's a pint of blood for you,
but for another it could be a life saved.
