OMAHA, Neb.--(Business Wire)--
There has been some misreporting regarding the timing of Berkshire`s first
quarter earnings release. Berkshire was never scheduled to release earnings this
week. Berkshire has consistently followed a policy of releasing its interim
earnings and posting its quarterly financial statements on the Internet on a
Friday afternoon within 40 days following the end of the calendar quarter (the
latest date we are allowed to file Form 10-Q with the SEC). Depending on how the
calendar falls this can be the first or second Friday of the second month
following the quarter end. Accordingly, this year, we will be releasing earnings
and posting our quarterly financial statements on the Internet on Friday May 8,
2009.
