announced that it will hold its 2009 Investor Day on Monday, May 11, 2009 in New
York City. David Weidman, chairman and chief executive officer, will host the
event. Weidman and Celanese business leaders will present an update on the
company`s business strategy, operations, technology and growth opportunities.

Presentations will begin at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time and conclude at 4:30 p.m. The
