Llorente SIU Partners with SeaBright Insurance Company to Achieve Successful Conviction for Worker`s Compensation Fraud

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Llorente SIU, a leading Contract SIU service provider, announced today that its
partnership with SeaBright Insurance Company has yielded the successful
conviction and sentencing of Cyndi Mangel for worker`s compensation fraud.
Mangel pled No Contest and was convicted of one count of Insurance Fraud and one
count of Grand Theft in the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles.
She was sentenced to 120 days in the county jail, and ordered to pay restitution
in the amount of $67,200.

Mangel`s worker`s compensation fraud was uncovered following an investigation of
her claim for benefits filed with SeaBright Insurance Company. In collaboration
with Llorente SIU, SeaBright Insurance discovered that Mangel had created her
own property management company and was earning income from this business, which
she failed to disclose as required by law.
