Among the many highlights were Greg Hafif of the Hafif Foundation -- a

Majik, the star of the Ambassadors, who then refused to let him throw 2
freethrows (both of which he made!); the four civic leaders -- J.P.
Pomierski of Upland, Sam Pedroza of Claremont, Don Kendrick of La Verne,
and Lee McDougal of Montclair -- working together on the floor during the
    2nd quarter to block the Ambassador's chief slam-dunker!; Reggie's Webb's
(McDonalds' owner) dance moves on the floor; and a full court pass by
    CMC Basketball Coach Ken Scalmanini.

Throughout the game, children filled the Ambassador bench and were
included in skits between each quarter, much to the crowd's delight. The
Ambassadors' message to stay in school, earn a college degree and live
drug-free resonated with both House of Ruth and Pomona College audiences.
