Eighth Annual Event Moves to Santa Monica SANTA ANA, Calif.--(Business Wire)-- Buoyed by exciting new programs on 3D and BD Live technology, The Eighth Annual Home Entertainment Summit: New Dimensions is moving from Los Angeles to the nearby Loews Santa Monica, June 29-30, 2009. The event, produced by Home Media Magazine, is expected to draw a who's who of Hollywood home entertainment leaders as well as key retailers from the sellthrough, rental and online sectors. Also attending will be media and key members of the blogging community. The Summit will open with a welcoming cocktail party Monday night, June 29, 2009. Programs will be held Tuesday, June 30, and include a 3D supersession, market research reports on the state of the home entertainment industry and its future, sessions on retailing and going green, and the popular Presidents Panel, featuring the top executives from the studios` home entertainment divisions. The conference will end with the DVD Critics Awards on Tuesday, June 30, honoring the best DVDs and Blu-rays of 2008, as chosen by a panel of DVD experts and entertainment journalists.
