Indonesia's United Tractors says Q1 net profit up 57 pct

JAKARTA, April 29 (Reuters) - Indonesian heavy equipment maker and coal mine contractor PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR.JK), on Wednesday said first-quarter net profit rose 57 percent to 812.3 billion rupiah ($74.8 million).

It reported revenue of 6.97 trillion rupiah in the January-March period, up 20.4 percent from 5.79 trillion rupiah a year ago.

Shares in United Tractors were trading up 1.35 percent against a 2.17 percent rise in the broader market .JKSE. ($1=10860 Rupiah) (Reporting by Tyagita Silka; Editing by Sara Webb)
