U.S. says North Korea must cease nuclear threats
WASHINGTON |
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States said on Wednesday that North Korea must cease its threats to conduct a new nuclear test and urged Pyongyang to return to six-party denuclearization negotiations.
"These threats only further isolate the North," said State Department spokesman Robert Wood. "The North needs to come back to the table," he told reporters. "The North needs to stop making these threats." (Reporting by Sue Pleming, editing by Jackie Frank)
