PERTH, April 30 (Reuters) - Woodside Petroleum Ltd (WPL.AX), Australia's second-largest oil and gas producer, expects to restart production at its Vincent oil field by the end of June, the company said on Thursday.

Woodside halted production at the 35,800 barrels-per-day (bpd) field off western Australia on April 13 after a fire broke out on the floating production and storage vessel.

"Production of about 0.5 million barrels of oil per month (Woodside share) from the Vincent field is deferred while the facility remains shut in," Woodside said in a statement.

Woodside operates the field and holds a 60 percent stake in it. Japan's Mitsui Trading Group (8031.T) owns the rest. (Reporting by Fayen Wong; Editing by Mark Bendeich)
