TAKE-A-LOOK- US to unveil bank stress tests on May 7

The results of the regulatory stress tests for the top 19 U.S. banks will
be publicly disclosed on May 7.

The results will include a capital recovery plan for those banks
demonstrating a capital need under more adverse economic conditions.

Regulators -- including the Federal Reserve, the FDIC, and the Comptroller
of the Currency -- are holding talks with the banks about the stress tests.

A source familiar with official talks said U.S. regulators have deemed that
about 10 of the 19 U.S. banks being stress tested will need to raise more
capital.
