U.S. Bancorp plans 5-yr senior dollar bond -lead

LONDON May 11 (Reuters) - U.S. Bancorp (USB.N) plans to sell a five-year senior bond that will be no bigger than $1 billion, one of the banks managing the deal said on Monday.

Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are managing the sale of the bond, the proceeds of which will be used for general corporate purposes, the bank said. (Reporting by Natalie Harrison; Editing by Greg Mahlich)
