Statewide 'Listening Tour' on Monday, May 11th at 9 a.m. from Bartlett, Ill.

CHICAGO, May 11 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Scott Lee Cohen, candidate for
Lieutenant Governor, will depart for a 10-day statewide "Listening Tour" on
Monday, May 11th at 9 a.m. from Bartlett, Ill. Cohen will visit over 15 major
cities and small towns in Illinois to meet with residents and community
leaders. Cohen believes the trip will give him and Illinois residents a unique
opportunity to discuss important issues and concerns, as well as learn more
about the variety of cultures that exist in the Prairie State.

"The theme of my campaign is 'Leadership that Listens,'" Cohen said. "Illinois
residents are facing some challenging times, and I believe that the only way
to truly understand how to help our state is to listen. The problem with our
government is that we don't listen to the people enough. Before you present a
solution or propose policy, you must know the source of the problem, and I
believe that the people of Illinois know our problems best," Cohen said.

Scott Lee Cohen is a lifelong resident of Illinois who has owned and managed
rental property, pawn shops and Cohen Green Cleaning Supplies, a distributor
of environmentally friendly cleaning products. Cohen is a former Northbrook
Little League coach and he organizes the Cohen's Food for the Holiday's
program that provides turkeys for low- and moderate-income families during the
holidays. Cohen is the proud father of four children.
