ALISO VIEJO, Calif., May 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Valeant Pharmaceuticals
International (NYSE: VRX) today announced that it will conduct a live webcast
of the company's annual meeting of stockholders.  The meeting and webcast will
be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. EDT.

A live webcast and audio archive of the presentation will be available on the
company's Web site at www.valeant.com. Click on Investor Relations, and then
the link to Events and Presentations.  Participants should allow approximately
five to ten minutes prior to the presentation's start time to visit the site
and download any streaming media software needed to listen t the Internet
webcast.
