New Profitable Partner Program Provides Lieberman Products to Qualified Solution
Providers
AUSTIN, Texas--(Business Wire)--
Lieberman Software today announced the appointment of Steve Sheinbaum to the
newly created position of Director of Channels and Business Development.
Sheinbaum is responsible for the development, launch and management of the
company`s new Profitable Partner Program. The program allows value added
resellers and solution providers to offer their customers the award-winning line
of Lieberman Software privileged identity and security management solutions.

"Our strategy for the continued growth of Lieberman Software is to achieve
greater penetration of security-conscious enterprise organizations by accessing
the broad, established customer base that quality channel partners provide,"
said Jess Richter, Director of Sales at Lieberman Software. "We offer partners
an opportunity to extend our mature, award-winning products to their own
customers, while expanding and differentiating their security solutions
portfolios. Steve`s proven track record in developing and managing partner
channels will help drive the adoption of our solutions to new customers."

Sheinbaum comes to Lieberman Software with more than 20 years of experience
driving sales, channel, and business development strategy through
enterprise-focused partners in the technology market. Prior to joining
Lieberman, Sheinbaum ran Americas Sales and Marketing for Marshal Software, in
the enterprise email and web security space. At CipherTrust, he led Americas
Channel Sales in a migration from a direct sales model to an indirect sales
model. Under his leadership, the CipherTrust Channel Program was honored with
the VARBusiness 5-Star Channel Program award, and Sheinbaum was recognized as a
Top 100 Channel Executive by VARBusiness. Before joining CipherTrust, Sheinbaum
launched and managed Nokia`s security division`s two-tier distribution channel
model, where he built a team that was responsible for more than $125 million in
revenues.

"Lieberman Software`s comprehensive security management product line, and loyal
base of repeat customers, were factors that influenced my decision to join the
company," Sheinbaum said. "Lieberman is committed to developing a channel
partner program based on mutually beneficial relationships with resellers and
solution providers throughout North America. Our partners will have the
opportunity to differentiate their security portfolios by offering Lieberman`s
innovative privileged identity management solutions. I look forward to forging
new, profitable alliances."

The Lieberman Software Channel Partner Program

The Lieberman Software Profitable Partner Program consists of three tiers.
Partners can qualify for upper levels by achieving annual revenue targets and
participating in short- and long-term business development planning. Partner
benefits include generous margins and profitability, deal registration
protection, qualified lead referrals, market development funds, recurring
revenue streams through maintenance renewals and participation in joint events.
Technical and sales support are provided by Lieberman Software personnel to
ensure that partners have the skills and knowledge needed to confidently resell
every Lieberman Software product.

The entire Lieberman Software product line is now available through the channel,
including the company`s flagship products Enterprise Random Password Manager,
Random Password Manager, and User Manager Pro Suite. Collectively, these
privileged identity management and configuration management solutions control
privileged access, maintain regulatory compliance, and perform security threat
assessment and remediation in the cross-platform enterprise. Lieberman Software
products are especially relevant to any organization running on the Microsoft
Windows platform, in all vertical market segments.

The company`s channel launch coincides with a growth trend for the IT security
market, despite the current economic downturn. An April 2009 report from
Forrester Research titled Market Overview: IT Security In 2009 states, "Total IT
security spending in 2009 will grow 10.2% and reach $34 billion, with staffing
included. Every category of IT security across products and managed services
will experience growth in 2009…New IAM purchases will center around provisioning
(especially for role management and auditing functions), privileged user
password management (PUPM), and physical/logical convergence."¹ Lieberman
Software pioneered the PUPM market by releasing the first product for this space
in 2001.

Partners interested in learning about the privileged identity management space,
and how partnering with Lieberman Software can help increase revenue and
reputation as a trusted advisor, are invited to attend a new webinar, scheduled
for the third Wednesday of each month, beginning on May 20th at 2PM EST/11AM
PST. To register for this webinar, please click on
