SEATTLE, May 11 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- For the first time in twelve years, the office of King County Executive will soon be vacant, and the public wants to hear from the current candidates to fill the vacancy in the upcoming election. inSPIRe (Seattle Progressives Inspiring Reform) announces a King County Executive Candidate Forum, to be held on June 1st from 7 to 9 PM at the Fauntleroy Community Church of Christ, 9140 California Ave SW, Seattle 98136. Participants will include Dow Constantine, Ross Hunter, Fred Jarrett, and Larry Phillips. The forum will be monitored, and questions will address the issues of budget and taxes, land use, public health, and transportation. In addition, forum attendees will be able to submit questions for the candidates, as time permits. All are welcome and attendance is free. Fauntleroy Community Church of Christ is located approximately two blocks east of the Fauntleroy Ferry in West Seattle. (Directions: South on 35th Ave SW, right on Barton, and 7 blocks down the hill.) inSPIRe is a group of progressives who strive to build community, social awareness and promote activism in the Seattle area.
