U.S. Energy Savings donates $10,000 to HeartShare

NEW YORK, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- With difficult economic conditions putting
pressure on the budgets of New York families, U.S. Energy Savings
(www.usesc.com), a leading energy retailer with operations in New York,
Buffalo, and Syracuse is pleased to announce a $10,000 corporate donation to
the EnergyShare Program.

"The EnergyShare Program provides thousands of low-income individuals and
families in New York City and Westchester with assistance to pay their heating
bills," said Ken Hartwick, President and Chief Executive Officer of USES.
"With this latest commitment from USES, we hope to reach even more families in
need of assistance trying to cope with energy bills during these tough
economic times."

HeartShare Human Services of New York, the administrator of the EnergyShare
Program, makes grants of up to $200 to those in need or those on the verge of
having their services disconnected. These grants are supported by utilities
and donations from the community. The more money collected, the more people
they are able to assist through this program.

"This donation will enable us to provide more grants ensuring that people do
not lose their heat, which is still critical in these early days of spring,"
said Joseph Guarinello, Vice President of Energy Programs for HeartShare.
"Given the economy, we are seeing more applications coming in than in recent
years."

"We are proud to support the efforts of the EnergyShare Program," added Ken
Hartwick. "Their contributions are very important to the communities we
serve."
