Cooper Industries to Participate in the 2009 Electrical Products Group Conference

Cooper Industries, Ltd. (NYSE:CBE) today announced it would participate in the
2009 Electrical Products Group Conference held in Longboat Key, Florida on
Wednesday, May 20. 

The presentation and comments by Cooper`s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Kirk Hachigian and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Terry Klebe
will begin at approximately 7:30 a.m. ET. 

A live audio webcast of the presentation will be available in the Investor
Center of the Company's website at www.cooperindustries.com under "Management
Presentations." The Company recommends that listeners download and install any
necessary audio software at least 15 minutes prior to the presentation. An audio
