Having launched Virgin Atlantic Airways a quarter of a century ago, Branson
will share his personal thoughts on the trials and tribulations of the
volatile airline industry and where he sees the aviation industry heading in
the next 25 years.

This flamboyant British entrepreneur, with a seemingly insatiable appetite
for starting new businesses, formed Virgin Atlantic in 1984. It is now one of
the world's leading long-haul only airlines.

Branson is well known for his personal adventures and development of personal
space flight. In 1986, he won the Blue Riband for crossing the Atlantic by
boat in record time. A year later, he set another record after crossing the
same stretch of water by balloon.

The National Press Club breakfast will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m., and
Branson's remarks will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a question-and-answer
session.

Advanced reservations should be made by contacting reservations at the
National Press Club. Cost of breakfast admission is $17 for National Press
Club members, $28 for their guests and $35 for general admission. Call our
reservation line at 202-662-7501, or email reservations@press.org.
